I purchased my High-end MBP with the 6750 in it around April of this year. For the past month or so I have been having pretty serious screen issues with the computer wakes up from clamshell sleep mode.

Generally, but not all the time when opening the the laptop from a sleep state the screen becomes a garbled mess. Anything that is black or shaded turns either fuzzy green or fuzzy blue. In the worst circumstances the entire screen look like a old analog TV with no signal. Tilting the screen forward and backwards a few times will always fix the problem until the next time.

Now, it doesn't happen every time the computer wakes up from a clamshell sleep and it doesn't happen if the computer has been left open and goes into sleep mode. This makes me think that it could potentially be a software issue, but I am not sure.

One other side note. When on battery power, sometimes when powering up the computer after it has been shut down, the fans, sound, and keyboard all turn on but the display never comes on. Plugging the computer in fixes this issue and like with the garbled screen, this doesn't happen every boot up.

Any ideas? I've included a picture of the screen being garbled blue after waking up from sleep mode. Sorry for it being a bit blurry!

Thanks for any help!
