2011 MBP: Still issues with Intel 510 SSD?

Hey guys

There have been lots of posts about issues with the intel 510 ssds.....until they stopped recently....

Does that mean that the issues are solved? Has this something to do with the recent EFI update?

To all who had issues before: are you now happy 510 users ?

I have a 510 in my 2011 MBP and was involved early on in the main thread discussing the problems. Luckily, I never had the problems others did, but I have followed the issue closely in the forums. It does look like the posts about Intel 510 problems stopped after the EFI update.

There was one recently though that was posted sometime during late May or early June about somebody who's having problems getting the 510 to negotiate to SATA 6Gbps.

Perhaps he didn't update his Mac but I'd stay weary of them. Does Intel or perhaps even Crucial report problems in their forums? After all they use the same controller almost.
