2011 MBP - Upgrading to SSD

Just picked up new 2011 MBP 13".

I would like to upgrade to an SSD. Any suggestions of what to get and would it be easy to install?

Depends how much you got to spend and if you're willing to give up space for speed. I personally like the Mushkin Chronos or the Samsung 470 series. Samsung is about to release their SATA3 stuff next month I think. Most ppl will do fine with 120GB, which runs from 175$-250$ depending on sata2/sata3. You can always just put nothing but osx/apps on the ssd and have all storage saved on external or relocate it to optical bay (which requires more work but nt that complicated). Installing ssd is the same no matter which you get.

Everyone is going to have their own opinion on which ssd to get - I've had a Vertex 3 for a few months and it hasn't given me any problems (it does kill battery life down to about 3 1/2 hours though).
