So I am in the midst of selling my late 2008 13" MB. I feel it is time for an upgrade. I keep thinking however of the August/September back to school free Ipods, which I could sell for $180 or something like that. But then I don't want to wait to sell my current one until then :(.

I am trying to decide between the 2010 15" MBP vs the 2011 15" MBP. Similarly spec'd out, it would be a $200-$300 difference. Would the price difference justify purchasing the 2011 model? Some of the things I do: watch a lot of streaming video via Hulu, watch movies, play games sparingly (SC2), Photoshop and Aperture work, and some web surfing.

What are your thoughts and/or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

If the price difference is only $200-$300 then i'd go with the new models.

the 2010 unit would get the job done for you ... it really boils down to if saving the money is important enough to you

The 2010 will more than meet your needs, save the 200-300 for an SSD and case for it.
