2011 MBP Win 7 bootable USB?

I have a 13" early 2011 MBP (i5 @ 2.3) with an optical drive that doesn't work. Is it possible for me to create a bootable USB of windows 7? I've seen lots of threads about creating bootable USB's but none with this exact issue.
