2011 Microsoft office for Mac and 2008

I recently installed the 2011 version. So now I have 2008 and 2011 on my Mac... Is it ok for me to uninstall the 2008 version or will that get rid of all my docs, spreadsheets, presentations?

Your files are saved on Documents folder (or wherever you want) and that will not be deleted if you delete Office 2008.

Just deleted office 08 using the office removal function and everything fine
