I bought a used firewire G-Drive off eBay. The firewire cable they provided has different connectors on each end. Unfortunately the drive and my MBP have the same firewire port but the cable only has one end that matches. Please see the two pics and let me know what the other end is? Some earlier or later version if FW?

This is the connector that fits the FW port on my MBP and the drive:

The other end doesn't fit into either and I don't have a port like this? Wondering what this is and if the merchant made a mistake:

The second picture is a six pin (for power) Firewire 400 male plug. Usually G-tech drives come with both FW800 to FW400 and FW800 to FW800. That was the only one in there?

Thanks. Yes the other one was USB. I’ll contact the seller. So I need 800 to 800 correct?

Think something like this will work and still give me 800 speeds?

In order to get FW800 speeds, you need a 9-pin FW800 male-male cable.
