2011 Tour de France thread

Here we are, another edition of the Tour has started There will probably be lots of action this year - after all, there have been 9 falls on the first stage.

Here are my predictions:

First - Andy Schleck
Second - Alberto Contador (altough it is unclear wether he will be allowed to keep this title)
Third - Cadel Evans

We'll see how the team time trial turns out tomorrow but Cadel is looking pretty good right now. Contador, may have very well lost the tour today - 1:20 is a huge amount to make up on the likes of Evans and Schleck.

Definitely. With yesterday's time trial he has a 1:42 advantage. Schleck lost by 39 seconds last year, and since he now uses a chain watcher on his bike, I definitely see him win this time
