2012 13" MBP -what ram and how much can I run.

I just picked up a new 13" pro in the base configuration. I want to bump the ram up and was curious if the new version supports 16gb like the older models? Anybody know the cheapest place to order it from also? Thanks!

It supports 16 GB of 204-pin 1600 MHZ DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM.

Upgrading RAM in MacBooks and MacBook Pros​

Newegg and Amazon are cheap places to buy that RAM.

I put 16gig of 1600mhz ram in my 2012 13 mbp

I used the corsair vengeance ram from amazon. Was 125 for the kit
