My wife has an annoying issue on her mid-2012 13" MBP in that it will hibernate after being left asleep for a few hours not only under battery but also when plugged in.

We would like to disable that when plugged in and keep it when unplugged. Is this possible? I'm not sure if this was always the case as she got it in October but at least since November it has been doing this. I've tried PRAM resets and SMC resets. I don't want to disable hibernation. My late 2008 aluminum MB doesn't do this. Neither machine has an SSD.
