2012 Mac Mini - Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter Possible?

Hey Guys,

I have noticed that some bluetooth headphones have issues pairing with my Mac Mini. I know the 2012 version came with Bluetooth 4.0 and my headphones are Bluetooth 5.0 (latest standard). Is there a way to upgrade the internal bluetooth module inside my mac mini, or purchase a USB dongle that can be used for bluetooth connections and pairing?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
