Link to a shot of the specs for the 15 MacBook Pro. It says the radeon 7770 for the graphics which seems odd as I thought it was going to be something from nvidia .

I wouldn't read to much into these "leaked" photos. we will find out hopefully on Monday what the real specs are.

I haven't been following the 15 MBP developments at all, but am suddenly in the market now.

When do you think they'll hit the stores? Is IPS screen a go or no-go?

IPS (or comparable) screens are probably likely.

Usually with Mac updates they're available online the same day as the announcement, probably in stores the next day, end of the week at the latest.

This has been posted already and other sites are just reposting. This is almost certainly a fake. 16GB RAM as standard is VERY unlikely.

16GB ram? Bit rich. I would have thought they would start with 8 and go to 12 with 16 being a user option.

If that's true, that display would have same perceivable quality at 19.57'' viewing distance, as iPhone has at 12'' viewing distance. That is, angular resolution of 69.38 pixels per degree of view.

Recently sold my 2010 15 MBP 2.4 i5 in anticipation of a new 13 Pro model. Personally, I'm hoping for a nice high-res display, thinner form-factor (no optical drive) and SSD (128) as standard. Any performance improvements over the 2011 will be a welcome improvement, but are not critical for me. If they can muster this for their base model 13 model (999 GBP), I think they're onto a winner.

Thanks. :)

Yes it will be more versatile.
With 680GTX you can use it as a cooktop to make eggs. Its brilliant.
