Has apple updated their glass monitor for the mid 2012 MBP (non retina)? Or is it still the same and reflective as other models?

I don't know whether I should get with glossy or anti-glare. Only thing I don't like about anti glare are the silver borders (looks un-appealing and cheap) and the colour displays aren't vibrant?

Also, is it recommended to upgrade in high resolution for glossy?

I recommend the upgrade to anti-glare hi res. Aesthetic preferences aside, it's a great monitor.
