2012 Macbook Pro 15"

Does anyone know when they plan to upgrade speeds again? My local Apple store tech told me to expect 3Ghz before March. I can't find anything to back up what he is saying. So what's the "MacRumor"? I'm in the market for one now...I believe the last upgrade was in October of 2011? Debating if I should wait....I can hold off for a little while longer if need be. Thanks!
