I've got a 2012 MacBrook Pro without Retina display that I installed a Crucial 1TB SSD in a few years back. I went to add bootcamp the other day and discovered that I only had 70GB available. It shows 527 GB taken up under the Other category. While I know that documents, programs, and other items may fall under that, I know for sure I do not have 500+ GB of that type of file on my drive. I vaguely recall reading that with an SSD there could be storage related issues, but I'm not sure what they were. So is there any way to clear this up? It's not the biggest issue in the world because I plan on purchasing a new MBP in the near future but would like to clear it up if possible. Thanks!!
