Hello,

I've read forum discussions and it seems that there isn't official support for software RAID since Mojave. In theory, a 2x500GB RAID would be a faster option (almost 1GB/s of i/o bandwidth), but probably more tricky to set up. A 1TB drive would be a straightforward solution, but it's limited to SATA III bandwidth. I like the possibility to reach most recent Macs i/o bandwidth, but I'm afraid that software RAID 0 won't be supported by Apple anymore. What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It's better to make a Raid with 2 SSD and you can on your mac mini even with catalina but I'm afraid you will loose the trim
