I’m going to sell my MacBook Air 2012 13” i5 /256 ssd/ 8 gb ram. How much do you folks think I can get for it realistically? What’s a good sell value?

Some guy offered me $150 on Facebook marketplace and I listed it for $215. I’m not sure if that’s a good price. I mean I sold my iPad mini 4 retina (2015) for on eBay, after fees it’s $152. No way my MacBook Air is worth less than an iPad lol

I’m looking at eBay sold
Prices, some as low as $125 to as high as $250. It doesn’t make sense.

My MacBook Air has been amazing since I bought it in 2012. Best laptop I’ve ever owned. but I got a new gaming laptop now and have no need for my mba

sold my retina 13 2012 128/8 for $180 year ago and never thought twice. I mean i used it 8 years and it returned all the money spent on it, so $180 was just a nice bonus.
If you are concerned about price difference, then take a look at iphone pro max, ipad pro 12.9 being more expensive than Air.

You should have no problem selling your 2012 13 inch MacBook Air in the $200 range as long as the laptop is in fairly excellent condition and comes with an AC power brick. I'm seeing similar config 2012 13 inch Airs on eBay selling in the $400 range.
