I have a 13 2012 MBA 8GB Ram/128 SSD over the past few days I've experienced serious lag, freezing, Safari and Chrome both scroll very slowly and just freeze at times, beachball appears numerous times during every browsing session, adobe flash downloaded a few times over the past week not sure if thats the issue or not , I've done a reinstall of Mavericks few months ago to solve a simlar issue but this time it's pretty bad , if Macs were prone to viruses i'd say I have one but i thought that's very rare

any thoughts?

It sounds like your machine is covered by this recall. There was a batch of 2012 MBAs with 128GB Toshiba flash storage that died. Read the link and it will tell you what to do to get it replaced.

Thanks for the link, I believe that firmware was downloaded a while ago but it never redirected to any page, might as well make an appt with apple and have them check it out
