2012 MBA won't connect to AirPort Extreme router

Just recently my MBA refuses to connect to my AirPort Extreme router. It's extremely frustrating. Has anyone else had issues with MBA/AirPort Extreme not connecting? If so any solutions? I've had to go ahead and create a new internet sharing network with my old mac mini to connect to the internet from my MBA. It's absurd.

So you MacBook Air properly connects to other WiFi networks?

If it does, do other devices properly connect to the Airport Extreme?

And finally you can try resetting the Airport Extreme settings as that sometimes helps Airport issues.

My MBA connects fine most of the time to other networks (although it does drop its connection on occasion). Every other device in my house (two other computers, ipad, two iphones) all connect just fine to the AirPort Extreme.

Oh and I've reset the AirPort Extreme multiple times and it doesn't work.

No problems with mine. Two MBAs, one MB Pro and an Airport Extreme.

I changed the name of my wireless network to something a little less complex and now it seems to be connecting without any issues. Weird.
