Hi everyone,

I'm still on my 2012 rMBP and am considering picking up a new 2020 MBA. I have no complaints about the screen on my current machine but was wondering how the screen on the MBA would compare to my MBP. Resolution is the same - but what about other factors? Will I notice any improvement? Thanks!

I’ve had the 2016 13 MBP and a 2017 15”. This 2020 MBA seems the same quality screen to me. No complaints what so ever. Great view

It will be night and day. Colors will be more saturated, text and everything else will be crisper.

the 2016 is a retina display while the 2012 is not.

I'm on the late 2012 13", which was the first retina model, was wondering how that screen will compare to a new 2020 MBA. If it's not a big difference I will probably wait until the 2021 or 2022 ARM MBP.

ah thanks for clarifying I was thinking of the 2012 non retina with the dvd drive.
It won’t be that big of a difference. I believe the only additions you’ll see would be tru tone and a increase in brightness.
