Like the title says! Is it gonna be fine in a long term? Should I put back the 4GB stock Apple ram or I should be fine with with a slower bus!?

I'm hoping it is not gonna slow down the machine with lower bus!

You're not breaking anything nor causing any issues, but why you'd want to purposely slow down your RAM is beyond me.

why would you do that?

Because i bought them for my 2011 mac mini base model, and I forgot they that the 2012 MBP was using higher bus than any previous mac machine :(

I'm overseas so I cant return them like that! Got the deal on black friday on newegg! So is the ram is going to be really that slow even with 16GB? Does the bus make a huge different?

Honestly I don't think it will make a significant difference at all. Unless you want the highest possible benchmark score.

No. The bus speed difference is hardly noticeable

Ok cool thanx for the help! For a moment I thought I was just downgrading my rams in a bad way! Lol we will see how it performs over bootcamp rendering stuff with autocad, and 3D.
