i purchased the 13' rMPB at my local Apple store last night. I received a "late 2012 model" . Didn't they update some internals on the 2013 models? If so, should i request an exchange?
 
u dont need to change it.
I live in indonesia, i have buy regular MBP in may 2013 and i got middle 2012 model :D
for my retina MBP, i buy in june 2013 and i got late 2012 model :D

Yes they did update it and if you paid full price and did not buy a refurb then you should of got the 2013 model.

If its the base model 13 inch 2.5, 128 its exactly the same. If its the upgraded 2013 2.6, 256, then it has a faster processor. I still would want the latest model if I paid full price.
