2012 rMBP 62* and 5k RPM fans idle with two screens attached

So is it normal that my 2012 MBP would run 62* at idle with the fans spinning at 5k just because I'm running the dGPU with two monitors attached? I'm thinking not and that I should be removing the heat pipe and reapplying thermal paste. There is also a possibility that the repair shop did a shoddy job on said paste when they replaced the logic board a few years back.
