2012 rmp sata-ssd vs 2013 rmp pci-e ssd?

What is the real world difference in usage between the "older" sata-ssd compared to the new pci-e ssd? I am debating whether to buy a new 2013 model or an used 2012 model.

don't know bout the 2012 model but my write is 700mb/s and read is 730mb/s
i can tell u that i get insane battery on my rmbp 13". been multitasking for 4 1/2 hours and at 70% still 9 1/2 hours to go
