Curious you guys think the retina mbp is worth the upgrade?

Two reasons that I would consider upgrading. One is of course the retina compared to my current 15" hi res tn panel. And two the ability to use multiple displays (I would like to connect my mbp to my projector and 27" Thunderbolt Display).

Also regarding the projector and 27" display, you guys think its possible without any frame rate drops from movies in hd?

The upgrade to the rMBP is TOTALLY a good idea! I'm poised to get one of these puppies:

http://store.apple.com/us/product/F...-23ghz-quad-core-intel-i7-with-retina-display

or

http://store.apple.com/us/product/F...-26ghz-quad-core-intel-i7-with-retina-display

Which one I get will depend on how long I can stand saving up money after I get my tax refund in. lol.

In regards to the display stuff, I'd assume there wouldn't be much if any framerate loss over TB... It's superfast IO. I don't own any TB devices, nor does my PC or MacBook support such... YMMV, but try it out.
