2013 21,5" iMac - PCI-E SSD?

I've just ordered a 2013 21,5" iMac with a 256GB SSD upgrade.

Is this a PCI-E connection SSD or just a SATA3 SSD?

So yes, you have a PCIe SSD.

The question now is, were you lucky enough to get the superior Samsung SM0256F variant?

You can check it in System Information → SATA/SATA Express.
