2013 i7 MBA screen goes black for second at login

When I first turn on the laptop and when it transitions from the white screen with Apple logo to the login, the screen goes black for a short amount of time during the transition. It used to do the transition without this which is why I am noticing it. Is this something I should be concerned about? Is this something that can be remedied??

Mine also blacks out for a second or two, nothing to worry about. My MBPro did it too.

Another "mine does that too" response, mid 2013 i7 MBA. A couple of 2011 MBPs also have the same behavior.
