Hey guys,

I was wondering if the Late 2013 iMac 27inch models still have the Screen smudge "dust" issue or was this fixed?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, it happens apprently when the iMac's screen heats up and leaves some dark marks that cannot be wiped off...

Does anyone know if this was fixed? I just ordered one online and found this problem. If this problem still exists i need to change my orders/ cancel it. Someone please help! emergency!

If we're talking about the same thing I did have this on my 2012 iMac but my 2013 is just fine. This is just one data point though, might want some others to chime in.

My second iMac had a weird issue where the screen illumination was patchy (it made it look like there was dirt/dust under the screen).

First had screen yellowing, third is all good.

I had this issue on a 2009 iMac and a 2011 iMac (which I repaired on AppleCare.)

My 2013 iMac has been fine since I got it late last December.

The newer machines run much MUCH cooler, and are sealed up which seems to have put the issue to bed.
