I'm going to be using the computer for college where I'll write papers, web browsing, watching videos, making PowerPoint and what not.

I was wondering can the 2013 MBA handle all of that? Or should I go with the cMBP?

Also, I'm scared that I may use all the memory on the air

I vote for the Air too. For all of the tasks you mentioned, it will do just fine. If you're worried about memory as in RAM, just upgrade to 8 GB instead of the standard 4 GB.
If you're worried about memory as in the SSD, just get the 256 GB model (or get the 512 GB upgrade).
Hope that helps!

Haswell Airs blow last years 13" cMBP out of the water. Word documents and powerpoint presentations take up very little storage space. Just buy a cheap external hard-drive if you have lots of music/movies to store.
