2013 rMBP with 27 TB display...upper left area pretty hot!

Hi all,

Im running a rMBP 2.8 /16 gig , 768 SSD
hooked up to a 27tb Display, with MAG safe going to rMBP

question,

The upper left area of the rMBP is getting pretty toasty to the touch...
Im new to Laptops....

How normal is this?
What is acceptable?

Ah, that thing. I actually got it from a German children's song about some cuckoo, in the below version performed by Rio Reiser:


But then again, look at my posting times and compare them with CET, I must be quite sleep disturbed.

I have a question if you don't mind. I do plan on purchasing a TB displayed this year to transform my rMBP into a workstation like yours. But may I know if there would be a huge difference in sharpness between the TB display and the rMBP? thanks :cool:

None that bothers me. I wear reading glasses and am an audio expert, so not a visual user...

I'd go into the Apple Store and take a gander...


My bother is the glossiness. I would have loved a matte option.
But its quite a display.
