I have a 2014 15" MacBook Pro that has ~400 cycles on the battery and low 80% battery life. It's pretty lousy for use as a laptop and am trying to decide on replacing the battery or selling and then upgrading to a 2015 MBP. I'll eventually get a 2019 MBP, but they're a bit too pricy at the moment.
I was just using Fusion 360 for a small CAD project and the battery was only going to last ~2 hours. So the question is: Does the 2015 MBP have sigificantly better battery life than the 2014 in real world conditions (under significant load, not just web browsing etc).
