Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place for this, and if it's not mods feel free to move it.
My mom just got a 2014 Honda Pilot lx. It can connect to my iPhone and hers and use the phone app over bluetooth no problem. But, since it has bluetooth, that would lead me to believe I could stream audio to it. I can't find any button on the dash that would indicate bluetooth audio and when I play music on my iPhone, it dosent play over the car speakers. Does anyone else have a pilot and can help with this issue? Or is it just not there? Am I missing something? Thanks.

I've had a couple of vehicles that do this. You have to set your car stereo's input setting to Bluetooth Audio (or similar), as opposed to AUX or USB.

In my last vehicle, the only way I could do this was with the voice command. My new car has a button I can select Bluetooth.

Some devices can use Bluetooth for phone functions, but not necessarily for streaming music.

There is no bluetooth button like in my dad's car. (Hyundai sonata)

Have you looked in the car's user manual? That usually lists all the physical controls, gives operating instructions, etc.

This is assuming it's a factory-installed audio system.

I have a 2013 civic, all I have to do is push the aux button to blue tooth. It should have multiple functions, aux, Bluetooth, and USB (all on the aux button).

My Acura's have an Aux button that toggles between the iPod/USB port and BT audio. Pretty sure my dad's Honda has the same.
