Hello, can anyone advise which places I can purchase a 15” MacBook Pro retina display.
My display is black and it happened after I knocked it on my car door Would like to know a few to compare prices.
Thanks in advance

You can find used displays on eBay always. They seem to start around $300. That is the only place I ever buy parts for my Macs. Unfortunately, it is hard to find parts for Macs elsewhere even as new as 2014, but if you find one, they sell for $380+ usually. Is it the display or the backlight? If you shine a flashlight to the display when the computer is on and see things, then the issue could possibly be a fuse on the logic board. See here for an example (if you watch about 10 seconds from the preset start time). I cannot guarantee it is a logic board issue as I have experienced both the logic board and display being the culprit. I suppose you could get a display that has free returns, try it out, and return it if it does not solve the problem. Good luck!
