I am trying to decide between a 2014 and 2015 MacBook pro. I would get the base 2015 model or get 2014 with these specs:
  • 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
  • 16GB of Onboard 1600 MHz DDR3L RAM
  • 512GB PCIe-Based Flash Storage
  • NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Graphics (2GB)
They are priced closely together on B&h and the 2014 has a lot of upgrades so I was thinking the 2014 MacBook pro would be better. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Same chipset family, the 2015 model has a bit more pep I suppose since it a minor spec bump. If you like what the 2014 model has to offer then go for it.

Interesting... let me know which model you purchase - 2014 or 2015! For me; is the Force Touch worth it? I not sure!

The 2014 model is a better bang for the buck IMO.
What you get in 2014 model: More SSD space, dGPU, better clocked CPU.
What you get in 2015 model: Force Touch (meh), Better resale value (if u plan on selling it soon), faster SSD and graphics(you probably wouldn't even notice it).

Anyways, you gotta decide it for yourself which one do u want.
