I've had my 13" rMBP since they were refreshed in September I believe it was.
It was a replacement for my 2011 iMac that developed a logic board fault.
I bought a stand and connected my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse previously used with my iMac all seemed well.
The last three weeks I've been using the built in keyboard and mouse on and off as I've been away from my desk and noticed that at times the keyboard freezes with no response at all. I have to reboot the laptop using the mouse and then it will usually work again. In a day this happens up to four times. Twice during this time the mouse has frozen with the keyboard. During such freezes the laptop runs as normal so it's not a system freeze.
I was hoping Yosemite would prove it to be a software fault but it's still occurring. Also it's happened just after fresh installs and I'm not running particular software when the hardware fails to respond.
I've made videos of the freezes to bring along to the Genius Bar on Thursday.
I hope that I'm able to get a replacement as I can't really afford to be without my laptop and also it has a creaky bottom case once the machine warms up which is a little frustrating on a £1250 machine.
Am I alone with this issue? I believe that some early 2013 machines had keyboard issues but this was fixed with a patch.
