Finally upgraded to a 2018 MBP from my 2013 model, so this is my first usb-c MBP. I have a Thunderbolt Display (that delivers power via Magsafe), also have a number of other Magsafe and Magsafe 2 cables and converters and was wondering if I could re-use any of them. From multiple searches it doesn't sound like there are reliable solutions/converters out there. There seems to be some stuff on Amazon, but reading reviews, appears to be mostly junk. Apple does not appear to have anything officially licensed. Did anyone here have any success with any magsafe 1 or 2 to USB-C adapter?

Invest in the future... I’ve got quite a lot of USB-PD accessories recently and they’re great. Most also support fast charge of the iPhone X/8.

Basically one charger can charge my laptop, phone, Nintendo Switch, and others.
