I am in the market for a 'new' 13" MacBook Pro. With the new 2016 release it is a choice between having the new, priceyversion, and be an early adopter (with all the woes what that entails)

Or

Buy the latest model of the last cycle, the 2015 model.

I have seen a deal on the 2015 13". They want £1549 for this:
  • 3.1GHz Intel Core i7
  • 16GB 1866MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • 512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage
  • Intel Iris Graphics 6100
  • Force Touch trackpad
  • Backlit British Keyboard
  • AppleCare until 2018
  • Software Bundle

Thoughts?

It's a good computer(I have that exact model aside from the British keyboard), and I guess that's not a terrible deal. Is it used? Is refurb an option there?

It's used. I'm intrigued by the higher specs, which will set me fair for the future.

The major plus is the AppleCare until 2018.
