I, like many others am not all that stoked about the new MB announcement. I build my own PCs, and I can definitively say that the internal upgrade between the two is definitely not worthy of the price they are putting on it. So I'm going to give some details here as to why I'm asking the question in the title:

I bought a MBP last year with a discrete GPU, and have loved it quite a bit as an upgrade from my 2010. My gf is a graphic designer who has been using her personal 2011 at work, and it just was not cutting it for her. The business she works for is going to buy her a new one, but I suggested to wait until the announcement happened because then there'd be the option of a) getting the new MBP, or B) getting the 2015 cheaper.

In the meantime, I setup my MBP with the programs she uses so she can do her work efficiently and I have the 2011 until that sweet day comes when she gets her upgrade.

She says the 2015 has been working amazingly for her, and doesn't experience any troubles. Thus my question is, for what she does, will the internals of the 2016 with discrete GPU be a major upgrade to her, or is the 2015 still going to be good enough?

She uses Photoshop CC 2015.5, Indesign CC 2015, Illustrator 2015.3, Acrobat Pro to do all of her work. Also, if anyone happens to know what Adobe may have on the horizon for future program updates, please chime in if the newer MBP would be better suited for this. These programs just aren't part of what I pay attention to when I make product choices.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
