So i did some looking around quickly online and didnt see anything that really mirrored the issue i have been having recently. Seemingly out of the blue, strings of up to 4-8 characters I have previously entered on the keyboard get randomly spit out several seconds later when I am typing. Most notably this issue seems to occur with my password that has lots of zeroes in it. Most of the time the password prompt rejects my password because of repeated keystrokes. I recall seeing a patch note for fixing an "issue that prevented users from entering their password" on one of the Catalina updates a while ago. However that didnt seem to fix that issue and its still having some difficulties. I want to believe this is software issue as i havent heard of these 2015 machines having serious keyboard issues. Currently running 10.15.5 and considering installing 10.15.6 update soon.
Computer has never had anything spilled on or into it, its super gently used (only 177 battery cycles over 5 years). Has anyone else had this issue? Was it a failing keyboard? Or some weird software issue?
I even seemed to have some difficulty writing up this post as well.
Thanks
Edit:
Ok, so i didnt really think the Apple forums post would be helpful but someone alluded to bad Wacom drivers? Has anyone else experienced this? I have an old Intuos 4 that uses older drivers, not so sure if it can use the latest like Bamboo does
