I have my 2015 iMac Retina 5k set at maximum brightness, and every time I reboot my computer, the brightness goes to 50%. It does not save my settings.

So I also have a 2012 iMac with the same High Sierra beta installed. The same thing happens on this iMac.

I have two MacBook Pros retina laptops and they work fine with the the brightness settings.
So this is only related to the iMac computers.

Is anyone else seeing this problem?

I have a 2015 iMac, and I've had issues with brightness since the first beta. My brightness goes to 25% upon booting it, and I have to log in to manually fix it. I can toggle the automatic brightness control off and it'll toggle it back on after restarting it.

Overall, it's an issue, but nothing to be worried about since I know other users have experienced the same thing. I'm expecting it to get resolved with the next iteration or at the very least, before it goes Golden. Just a minor inconvenience.
