Hi, I am looking at buying a used 2015, 15" macbook pro. I was able to get my hands on it for a couple days, but need to decide by Saturday if I want to buy it or not. I plan to buy it, so I loaded everything on it (used time machine back up) and started to set it up like my old one. (long story, I wanted to do a fresh install, but had issues with openemu not remembering any of my old games and I couldn't get any of the roms anymore, so I did restore from time machine). I know a fresh install is better, but then I lose my emulator games.

One weird thing that has happened is that every once in a while the screen freezes for 3 to 5 seconds. I would say this happens maybe once every 4-6 hours (kind of guessing on how often), but it has happened multiple times in the past few days.

I looked around and was told I should do an EtreCheck. So I did, the report is below. It said no major problems, but there are some minor ones (I am not sure how to clean them all up). Does this EtreCheck make you think I have some issues to be worried about?

Should I be concerned about buying this laptop?

Greatly appreciate all feedback and advice!

Saw nearly 200 people took a look, even though no one had any thoughts. I opted for a clean install and performance has been much better- only thing that lingers is chrome helper using a lot of ram. But freezing is gone.

Any thoughts on the chrome thing? I use google drive a lot, so that is why I tend to use chrome. Should I delete google extensions or Should I just switch back to Mozilla?

Any thoughts or advice?
