I lost access to my keyboard and trackpad on a 2015 13-inch MBP. I replaced the the trackpad cable and both of them started to work. Great. I decided to upgrade to Mojave from Sierra. After the install the trackpad and keyboard stopped working again. I have access to the same type of laptop so I took that working trackpad cable and put it into my MBP. Both the keyboard and trackpad still didn't work.
I then took the same cable from my MBP and put into the other MBP and the keyboard and trackpad work fine. So, both brand new trackpad cables have been proven to work.
Any solutions to have it work again or an explanation on why it may have stopped working again is appreciated.
