2015 MBA 11" & 13" SSDs interchangeable?

Only the 2015, 13" airs got the SSD spec bump. Are the SSDs interchangeable? Or, if i am able to buy the same SSD from the 13"s, can it be installed on the 11"?

It is not the SSD that got the spec bump, but rather the interface itself. Swapping a SSD from a 13" model will not do what you want.

I see. Thanks for the info. This is my first computer with an SSD. Granted the SSD on my 11" MBA is the same speeds as current windows desktops, I guess I won't even notice a thing. I'm using a 5400rpm HDD on my main desktop (laptop) running a Centrino 2. Bought it new for $59, 500GB a few years back.
