So today I woke up to watch the PlayStation conference today on Twitch. My Mac was at 95%, it started running hot and the battery got into its 20's after about 2 hours. My MacBook Pro is only about 2 months old. It has never even ran warm before. Anyone have experience with this issue. This is something I'd expect from a 4 year old MacBook, not a 2 month old one. I guess I'm going to charge her back up to 100% (At 6% now), and shut her down for today.

Twitch is flash based, it's going to use a lot of battery.

Did you have a question or were you just making a comment about the battery life of your laptop?

Yes, I want to know if there is something wrong with it. This has never happened to me before. Should I call Apple ?

Battery life is heavily affected by your usage.

Activity monitor can tell you which apps are using a significant amount of battery.
