Hi everyone,
My 2015 Macbook pro retina has started making a very loud static-like noise (almost like writing to a hard drive) and this noise is even felt through the trackpad itself, vibrating it when the static noise is on. It does have an SSD so I 'm ruling out being the hard drive? I think it may be the trackpad itself but can't find any similar posts on a loud static noise/vibrations on failing trackpads. I can make it less or more noisy when pressing on the trackpad. The noise is intermittent but very loud when it's on and even happens when the laptop is closed and even during booting. I haven't opened it yet as I'm still awaiting the right screwdriver to arrive. any ideas on what this may be? It's almost unbearable to work on it when the noise is on, it's that loud and annoying. Thanks in advance for any help.
