Ever since these updates my MBP has been shutting down and doing it often. Right in the middle of work or plugged in drives and it ends up screwing up the drives because the drives thing I am disconnecting them without ejecting them.

Battery is still above 50% every time and I have to wait a couple of minutes then click the power button once just like I am waking it from sleep or a dead battery. You know, just like when your battery dies you plug it in wait for a couple of minutes then click the power button then the LEDs at the bottom appear as the machine wakes up. It doesn't shut down, it just goes into battery ran out state even though it is still at over 50%.

Why not just revert back the OS???

Why not just revert back the OS???
Well I'm not sure if it's from beta versions. It's just a possibility. But no one else has reported it so. It seems like it might be something more serious. Because otherwise lots of other people using public betas would be experiencing tons of auto-shutdowns.

Does your machine get excessively warm even with minimal usage?
Do you get a crash report window after rebooting or checked any Console logs?
Have you tried an OS restore?

If me, I don’t care beta or not beta. If my machine restart randomly, I will either reverted back to the normal stated or throw out of my window. I don’t care is new OS or old OS. What I care is my machine is function normal. Simple, if your machine have no symptom of this before upgrade, then absolutely is the upgrade affected.
