Hi All
I'm interested in upgrading the PCIe SSD in my 2015 15" MBP, does anyone know where to get the correct SSD for my machine? From what I've been able to find out the spec for the machine is PCIe 3.0 x 4 (4 Data Paths) while the previous models have PCIe 2.0 x 2 (Data Paths).

You can't buy them, eBay usually have a few pulled from other machines they are very expensive.

And OWC does a replacement that's half the speed doesn't support trim and is very expensive.

To be honest you are probably better off selling yours and buying a second hand one with the storage space you need.

I got an external SSD for my 2015 MBP 13". Samsung T3. Its tiny and I get around 440 mb/S read and 420 write.
500gb for 230€. I'm running Windows 10 with parallels and it's blazing fast. Totally recommended.

You are running Parallels & Win10 from the external or the internal ssd & How do you have it connected to your MBP?
