Is the 540 graphics in the 2016 13" MBP noticeably better than the 6100 graphics in the 2015- 13"?

Just wondering because the graphics in my 2015- 13" are jumpy and slow every once and awhile.

Thank you.

How do you like your 2015 model? Best Buy has it for $1099 and I have a student discount coupon, and I'm very tempted. Currently have a 2011 13" i5 model that gets the job done for graphic design work, but it's old and has a battery in "replace now" mode. I don't really need a new computer right now, but would like a new computer at some point this year.

Yes, there is a significant improvement, and it is arguably one of the most notable improvements the 2016 makes over the 2015 because of how much this improvement is (and how rapidly it came about.)

The Iris iGPU on the base 2016 13-inch is comparable (and some ways superior) to the flagship dGPU on the 2014 15-inch! That's a ridiculous advancement for such a short period!
