2016 13" 2-port MBP / Thunderbolt *2* question

Using the Thunderbolt 2 adapter, could I connect it to a MyBook Thunderbolt Duo and then daisychain that to a 4K 60hz monitor?

The video signal from most 4K displays is DisplayPort. I don't think your plan will work.

I don't think this will work since The MyBook Thunderbolt Duo is Thunderbolt 1 (unless they have a newer model I'm not aware of) while 4k needs a TB2/DP1.2 port minimum.

That was what I was fearing, wanted positive confirmation. Oh well, bugfixed LG monitor for this Mac I guess
