2016 13 MBP w/TB or 2017 13 non-TB MBP

It would appear the kaby lake benchmarks faster + faster SSD.

Both are 8GB (plenty) & 256GB disk.

So, is it worth getting the touch bar, slower graphics and the two additional usb-c?

Do you like the touch bar enough to accept the trade off in slower CPU/GPU speeds? Further, does the work you perform benefit considerably from a slightly faster CPU/GPU?

never owned the touch bar. I do like speed and snappiness but I don't do anything that pushes the cpu
